Dad told us that he had a cousin by the name of Willard E. Shetler, same as his and things were always getting mixed up so he changed the spelling of his name to the old spelling, Schöettler except they could not do the ö so he made it Schuttler. As kids we never knew any difference until we started meeting Uncles, Aunts and cousins. It sometimes creates confusion with family gatherings.
All the cousins who came to Quincy to help celebrate their 60th anniversary.
